This album collects the first two releases from the Saint Paul power-pop trio. The first nine songs comprise their brilliant 2012 self-released cassette in its entirety, and represents the best new mod-punk available since 1980. Seriously, these songs are amazing, with each one finding at least 3 perfect hooks. Thrilling stuff, in a Protex, Buzzcocks, First Alert, Only Ones channel. The compilation ends with their first vinyl release from Three Dimensional Records. "Dreaming in Black and White" remains a live staple for the band, and finds them jerking back and forth between staccato chorus stabs and crooning verses. "Endless Nights" captures their Who-aping side and demands windmills and scissor kicks throughout. Rock n' roll at its finest.
